Near to the train station. It has great views of the surrounding mountains in Innsbruck. Even a normal room like ours had magnificent scenery from the windows. Rooms are small and relatively expensive. However, Motel One is a huge boutique hotel chain in Europe featuring quirky modern interior design that varies from city to city. So there is a ton of character to the place. Breakfast spread is limited, rather basic.
Poor room quality. Advertised as beautiful, but only a few rooms match the pictures. We ended up on the first floor, and our room was literally above the train station. At least it was soundproof. Cleanliness was terrible; we found courtesy paper cups already used with lipstick marks. Convenient location for a stroll, but the hotel's affiliated parking is tiny. You'll pay at least 20 euros per day if you come by car.
Good location at the train station about 50 meters from the main exit. If you travel by train it is very convenient most attractions place in town can be walkable. Small room small bathroom but good view. Breakfast is congested in the food area, but the seating area is sufficient it is located on the top floor of the building with a beautiful view.
Location couldn't be more perfect, just to the side of the train and bus station. Being in the center of Innsbruck and above the majority of buildings you are surrounded by the beautiful mountains.
Rooms are a little small so I wouldn't recommend storing Ski's or Snowboards if you're visiting for that type of trip. Trains can be heard on all sides of the building if the windows are open, if closed the soundproofing is more than sufficient at blocking them out. Bathrooms are beautiful however the walk in shower flooded our bathroom floor every time, not ideal but not a real problem either.
Reception staff couldn't be friendlier, very informative and accommodating. Immaculate service from them.
Breakfast in the bar is well stocked with a variety of meats, cheeses, pastries, breads, juices, hot drinks and fruit. Specialist coffees were also available upon request.
Great hotel next to the train station. You don't hear any trains in the hotel room. Loved the view of the trains and mountains. Room was small but comfy. Would have appreciated a second chair. Miss having semi-transparent curtains to allow light in without giving a show to the people on the tracks below... Bar service was really slow because of insufficient people. Please hire more!
Very cool modern hotel next to the central station. Perfectly located if you want to stay for a short trip in Innsbruck because the city centre is reachable within walking distance. The hotel is decorated nicely and very clean, but I find the rooms a bit small. The bed is very comfortable, but there aren’t any actual cabinet to store your things and also no fridge. It’s ok for a short stay but I cannot imagine staying for a longer trip here because the amenities are a bit too basic.
Staffs have some weird attitudes. When we checked in, Some staff lady led us to the wrong room and we left for dinner. We came back we couldn’t use the card to open the room then we checked with reception and realized we got the wrong room but the messages they said to us was - ‘’you went to wrong room, that is not your room and we don’t know how did you get there’’
Well, it was lady staff fault and they should’ve said something else and let us know.
The room, bed was comfy but there are no glass for water, no kettle, no coffee. Worser than that they give you a paper cup put in bathrooms. So cheap and ridiculous.
Only location is great, else….. not recommended.
We chose this hotel since we wanted to stay near the train station - only a 3-minute walk. Surrounding the area were small shops and a pharmacy. Our room, located on the top floor, provided an exquisite panorama of the mountains and the cityscape. The room was cosy and clean, the bed was comfortable. Breakfast at the hotel restaurant, boasting stunning views, was a delightful experience. There were many different types of pastries for breakfast, and the coffee tasted good. The hotel staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, enhancing our overall enjoyment of our stay. One day I will visit it again.
